Kakinada, December 2016:’Pochampally IKAT Art Mela 2016′ a 9-days Hand woven Eco-friendly Handloom Products exhibition Kickstarts at Sri Pydah Chalamayya Srinivasa Kalyana Mandapam, Opp: Raj Jewellers, Temple Street, Kakinada.
The Expo will be on until 24th December 2016, 10:00 am to 9 pm.
Miss Kakinada -2016, Pooja Jain said, on occasion inaugurating the Mela “It’s glad to see various apparel, particularly designer Fabrics, age oldIkat silk and cotton sarees, to be showcased for the Fashion Connoisseurs in the town. Platforms such as this are required to reach out women looking for well-designed handmade cotton, silk wear & select home textile” she said.

By promoting handlooms, we support the artisans and local community who have been passing on their skills for generations.
